The Power Milers headed to Tallahassee this weekend to compete against some of the best runners in the country at the USATF Club Cross Country National Championships. The meet was held Saturday on a challenging course at Apalachee Regional Park. PMTC fielded one team for the Men's Masters 10K race and two squads for the Men's Open 10K.
Brandon Wingate led the master's team to a 13th place finish out of 16 teams. Wingate fought injury to finish 71st overall in a time of 36:27.

Leading the charge for PMTC's "A" team in the open 10K race were Patrick Aucoin (167th, 33:05) and Richard Bouckaert (177th, 33:21). The "A" team finished 27th out of 36 complete teams.
Will Kirkikis lead the Power Miler "B" team to a 33rd place finish with a 34:06 performance.
This is the third consecutive year the Power Milers have fielded a team for the race, and 27th overall is the highest ever finish for the club. The team will look to improve on their showing at next year's race to be held in Lexington, KY.
