Kirkikis Snags AG Top 10 at 2017 ITU World Duathlon Championship

Power Miler Will Kirkikis traveled to Penticton, BC. to represent Team USA at the ITU Multisport World Championships on August 19. Kirkikis competed in the Age Group Sprint Duathlon, which consisted of a 5 km run, 20 km bike, and 2.5 km run. 

Coming off the 5 km in 35th overall in 17:36, Will faded a few spots during his 34:31 bike segment. However, he surged ahead on the second run, covering 2.5 km in 8:28. 

Kirkikis covered the sprint format in a total time of 1:02:59, good for 31st overall and 7th in the Men's 25-29 category.
