The Power Mile Track Club is seeking to hire a sports marketing intern for Summer 2017 to provide broad support to membership, club development, and community outreach via our annual event, the Power Mile Road Race. Opportunities are available to gain direct experience in a variety of areas, including photography, sports writing, social media marketing, event organization and promotion, and donor relations.
Come hone your skills with some of the fastest runners in New Orleans!
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Marketing, communications, journalism, or related major.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-HTML/CSS skills and/or familiarity with web content management systems.
-Passion for competitive distance running preferred.
-Availability to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
Details:
-Flexible start date; end date August 4, 2017.
-Minimum 10 hours/week commitment.
-Stipend available.
